Hello and Quick Hairtutorial...

Hi,
My name is Ria van Son and I am still doing the happy dance ever since Janet asked me if I wanted to be on her Design Team. Hmm guess what I said? NO AFCOURSE ;) hahahahaha no way afcourse I would love to be on her DT. I have loved Pink Gem Designs ever since I laid my eyes on them when Janet was still selling thru another website called Spiral Whispers. I have been making cards ever since I can remember but I seriously began again in 2007 when I had to stop with my Polymer Clay addiction. So I found another addiction making cards with cute stamps and over at Pink Gem Designs we have enough of those :)

So this is my first debut posting as a Design Team member for Pink Gem Designs :) and I made a little and very simple tutorial for you with how I colour the hair on most of my favourite fairies.

As I colour with Spectrum Noir markers you need TN2-TN3 and TN4
For the skin I used PP2 for the blush and then I added the skintones FS8 and FS4. The paper that I use for my stamped images is Clair Fontaine DCP 190 grams. This is easy available in Holland. The Digistamp that I used is Sprinkles with Attitude.

I start to colour the whole hair part with the TN2.
Then you take the TN3 and colour a large part of the hair and go over the TN2 but not all the way.
Then you take the TN4 and do almost the same only you do a smaller part with the TN4 and you leave parts of the TN 3 and TN2 alone.
Then you go over it all again with the TN2 and you blend all the colours nicely together. I told you it was quick and simple ;)
And here you see the skin tones that I used. They are very light compared to other brands but I kinda love that about the Spectrum Noir markers.

And this is the end result when she is made into a card. I finished my image off colouring the clothing first with Spectrum Noir markers and then with my Prismacolors and Sansodor.
I do hope you liked my quick and simple hairtutorial.

Hugs Ria
