Little Gem with Bauble...

Ohh I can't help myself but when I see a new Little Gem stamp I got to go and grab it and play with it ;) soo that is what I did today and I even made a short video about it how I coloured my stamps. I hope you like it as I love doing these picture video's :) no no no weird dutch accent hehehehe especially now I have been feeling rubbish this whole week and my voice sounds awefull hahahahaha so I will spare you that HORROR hahahaha well enjoy my video and card and hope you all have a great weekend.

Winter Wishes...

Today I have this cute giftbox to show off ;) I made it with a cuttingfile for the Silhouette Cameo and used the Purple Christmas Sparkle paper on the lid. I coloured Festive Chloé with Copics and Flexmarkers and Stickles. I used the Winter Wishes from the Christmas Circle set 1.

Have A Batty Day...

ohh I am in the halloween mood. I wanna make many more but here in Holland Halloween is not such a big deal as most Dutch don't do anything about Halloween. So I really should not create alot of Halloween stuf :)  But when I saw that at Pink Gem there where a few new additions to the store I could not stop myself and I had to use them  ;) So here is my HAVE A BATTY DAY card. I used Pink Gem Chloe with cauldron,Batty set, Halloween papers.

I printed on Stamplinnen from JoyCrafts and coloured with Prisma's and Sansodor.

Reindeer Jodie....

Ohh I think I got the Xmasbug bite as all I wanna do is make Christmas cards at the moment. Which isn't such a bad deal as it only means I will be done in time this year hahahahaha So today I am showing you Pink Gem's Reindeer Jodie and  A magical christmas sentiment

Happy Almost Tuesday....

Hahahahaha I was going to post this tomorrow on Tuesday but thaught ahh heck let's post it right away and show of this cute new Merry Christmas Chloe and the Christmas Frames digi's right away.

I used the PNG versions of both digi's and combined them together. Coloured Chloé with Copics and Prismacolor pencils/Sansodor. Made some snowflakes by handembossing the backside of my image and you should do this after you coloured your image so you can see the colour slightly  thru your paper, so you know where to make the flakes. Added loads of handstitching to the frame and border of the background papers and made some snowflakes with my martha stewart punch and used Real Swarovski Crystals in the center parts. So guess this one is going to someone who saves cards I send to her hahahahaha don't want it to end up in the bin with the costly crystals on it ;) hahahahaha

Happy Sunday Pink Gem Lovers...

Today I have this gorgeouss Little Gem with Rose to show you. I coloured him with Spectrum Noir markers and then added some touches with Prismacolor pencils and sansodor.

Well sunday started here with loads of rain but it is starting to clear up so I am out for a walk with my own puppy now.

Doing CAS into Extreme....

Hahahaha okay I am not often doing any CAS cards but with this Pink Gem Designs Beermonster I saw no other option as I think it is MARVELOUS all on it's own without any embellies that take your eyes away from him...

So this is going to be hubby's birthday card as he loves his beer or whine hahahaha  I coloured Beermonster with Prismacolor pencils and sansodor and nothing else...

Ahhh are you all enjoying all the lovely summer weather?? well I know i am enjoying every little bit of it hehehhe today it is a bit cloudy and only 22 degrees celcius after a seven day heathwave and the next heathwave is coming is what I have heard on the radio :) so here is one of my new cards that I made with the cute Tortoise from Pink Gem Designs. I coloured her with Copics and Prismacolor pencils and sansodor. I cut my card with the Silhouette Cameo. Yes I am lazy especially when it is HOT hahahaha

Well hope it is lovely weather where you are :) I am off to do some crafting ;)

Martha...

Hello Pink Gem Fans, did you miss me.... hahahaha I know I went on a terrible long vacation to France and the weather was not all good hahahah but have enjoyed the rainy/grey days colouring and walking way to much hahaha  Soo here is Martha I printed her on Stamplinen (some kind of fabricpaper) and coloured her with my Prismacolor pencils and Sansodor. The card base is madde with the Silhouette Cameo machine. The die behind Martha is from Spellbinders.

New Vintage girls....

OMG have you all seen the new Vintage girls that Janet put up in the store...... They are soo gorgeouss and I can truly say I am not one that is into Vintage alot but these girlies are soo tempting so here is my Amelia card. I printed her on StampLinen by JoyCrafts and then coloured her with Pencils and Sansodor. Paper is from FabScrap and I wish I had more of it hahahaha The corner swirl is from Spellbinders and available in the Pink Gem store.

Happy Easter....

Happy Easter.
Today I am showing you an Empty Easter basket as I can't have any sweet like chocolates near me as I would eat them all ;) I am having such a bad time with this awefull winterweather that I need to watch myself carefully hahhahha so I am going to fill this basket on easter morning for the brunch that I will make for hubby and me :) I bett it looks wonderfull with some croissants hehehehhe for this basket I used Bunny Chloé  coloured with Spectrum Noir markers.

I love Pink Gem Designs....

I really can't help myself but I totally love Pink Gem Designs. So I have been playing again with my Silhouette Cameo cutting machine and designed this word card with the Studio designer editing software. If you have a Silhouette Cameo you can contact me thru my blog for this file as I will be giving it away for free but it only is a studio file so no other converted files and no template to cut it out by hand. Sorry.


So I cut it out with the Cameo and punched out loads of tiny flowers, butterflies and dragonflies and glued them onto the card. Also made with a needletool loads of faux stitches around the edges of the letters and added with a White gelpen the faux stitching. I used Chloe and coloured her with Flexmarkers, Copics and Spectrum Noir.


Added some stickles and a few pearls to the flowers and my card is done. I hope you like my inspiration for today.

Birthday wishes...

Hello Pink Gem fans,
Did you miss me hijacking the blog..... well today I am showing you this cute Chloé sitting on a swing. I saw this cute cuttingfile on the blog of Birdscards and it is to use with a cuttingmachine like a Silhouette Cameo. I changed the opening of the birdcage a little bit so I could place Chloé sitting on her swing in the opening. I glued her on a piece of acetate so it looks like she is really swinging in there on those 2 thin pieces of rope. She is coloured with Copics and Spectrum noir markers. I also used the Birthday Wishes Sentiment from the Vintage Occasions set and coloured that also with Copics.

Merging digistamps together...

Happy Sunday Pink Gem Fans,

Today I want to show you how simple it is to merge a couple of Pink Gem Designs Digistamps together. 

You need a photo editing program like photoshop, gimp or something simular.

For my card I used the following digistamps...

Heart fence

Whimsical sentiments

Background papers

and 

Chloe in knitted hat

First I open one of the background papers (Sorry for the weird looking pictures as it is horrible to take pictures of my laptopscreen.) for this card I wanted the blue clouds with green grass, there are 6 different designs to choose from all clouds, clouds with snow, with sand etc...

Then I opened the fence and choose the PNG version for this and also the uncoloured one as I wanted to colour it myself. Select the outlines of the fence and Control C to copy the image and Control V to paste the image onto the background paper.

You now can easily make the fence as big or as small as you want for your total image.

then I did the same with this cute Chloe digistamp again I opened her as a PNG and uncoloured. Then select the Chloe image and copy and paste her onto the background and fence picture.

Now place Chloe wherever you want her in front of the fence. And make her smaller or bigger.

I did the same thing with the Happy birthday sentiment from the new Whimsical sentiment set.

And added it to the lower grass in the background, as I wanted it to be a real part of the picture. Before you now go further make it one layer in your software. And safe it as a jpg file on your computer somewhere.

This is how it looks when I printed it. Because we used PNG file all the images are nicely stacked onto eachother and you can colour them perfectly as nothing is lost. If you can not work with photoediting software then you always can just print each part seperately and cut and glue them to stack them the same way. But i can promise you it will be so much easier if you do it with the computer.

So now it is ready to be coloured. I used Copics, Spectrum Noir markers and Prismacolor pencils with odorless spirit as I love this combination. Here I have coloured some parts already with the markers.

And this is my finished card. I totally love how it turned out.

The papers are from DCWV, Punches used by Martha Steward and EK Success, Pearl, Bling Brads, Ribbon and Lace.

Chloe in knitted hat...

Ahhh have you all seen the new digistamps that Janet has released last week... When I saw Chloe in knitted hat I runned to the store grabbed her, printed her and coloured her with Copics, Spectrum Noir markers and Prismacolor pencils. I so love to combine my markers with pencils as the shading goes a little bit easier and you don't waste alot of the precious ink hahahahahaha But we need to convince Janet that she needs to create a couple more sceneries as now I had to draw my own and I know I can but it is better if she does them whahahahhaha.....


Paper is from the Eva paperpad by Basic Grey one of my all time favourites. Wish the end was not coming near for this beautifull pad as I almost use it all now ;)

Love bugs....

Hello Pink Gem Fans,

 today I am hijacking the Gems of Inspiration blog as I had my dt day last week but I am so in love with my latest Pink Gem project that I had to show this one off and I could not wait any longer hahahaha So I would like to show you this incredible cute couple called LOVE BUGS. Janet asked us for some ideas and I said Lovebugs and boy did she deliver. She created 2 new digistamps and I used the couple for this one and coloured them with Prismacolor pencils and a bit of stickles.

Okay I will release this blog again for now but I can't promise that I will hijack it again in the coming weeks hehehehehe

Hello Pink Gem Fans,

First off I want to wish you all a Marvelous 2013 with lots of health, luck, love and good things.....

Today it is my turn to show you some of my work with the lovely Pink Gem Love Owls. I used 2 of the owls that are sold in this set but they are also available as single digistamps and you get them in Coloured versions and in Black and White. So if you are in need of some fast images it is so easy to print off the coloured ones and use them on your creations. Today I used the black and white versions on my cards.

I love to play with my Silhouette Cameo cutting machine and I designed some wordcards to play with this time. First one is made for a Birthday and I used the Hugs and Kisses owl on this one. I coloured the owl with Prismacolor pencils and sansodor. While the wordcards do not take alot of time to make as the cuttingmachine does most of the work, I decided that the cards needed Faux Stitches around the edges so I used a needlepintool to make the holes and then added the stitches with a white gelpen. The flowers are all punches out with a small flowerpunch but you can easily use little diecuts or even little stickers to decorate the card. And I used little pearls.

And my second card is a LoveCard as I used the love Owls :) The wordcards says Liefde which means Love in Dutch....  I coloured the Owl always Love you owl with Prismacolor pencils and sansodor and I used a white gelpen on the wordcard to draw little hearts as I found that I did not have a small heart punch and I made these cards on vacation so I did not bring my cuttingmachine with me :) so I had to doodle a bit which also can be alot of fun.
