Christmas wishes...

Hi, today it is my turn to show you some of my work and I have a couple of fun things to show you. First is this lucious pink card that I made using the Coconut Ice digipaperset, the new Vintage Christmas sentiments and Angel Jodie.

I coloured Angel Jodie with Alcohol markers and cut her out totally so it would look like she really is floating on her cloud. She is glued on a piece of acetate.

Now I went to my MIL this week and we had a little crafty afternoon and we made a card together. My mil is 80 years and she really is into 3D Decoupage and I did not bring any colouring pencils or markers so I thaught it would be fun to use The Baby Boy Bundle. I printed him 5 times and let mom cut it all out as my hands really don't like to cut all the smaller parts. Now this one doesn't have alot of small parts but I decided I would do the total card layout. And made an easelcard. Now my mil does not have all the fancy designer papers that we are using here in Blogland but I found some that where perfect for this image. So this is our baby card. I think it turned out cute, only shame is that her camera isn't the bestest out there ;)

Okay and here are a couple other cards that I have created this last month :)

Using A magical christmas sentiment, the new Licorice Ice papers, Teddy with Christmas tree.

And for this card I used Penguin set 2 and I think this is the cutest penguin in blogland :)

Well I hope you enjoyed my post today and wish you loads of crafting fun....
hugs Ria

Rudolf & Friends

Hello, Lisa here with a little... well actually quite a large card to show you, using one of the fab new clipart sets, they're so much fun to play with :o)

A friend, who's a nurse, asked me for a large card (8" square) for the ward she works on, and I thought this super cute Rudolf & Friends set would be perfect for making a nice big scene... You could make a scene entirely digitally with this set, but I had this layered snowy thing in my head!  So the first layer - trees & snowflakes - was created digitally (using Serif PagePlus), and then I tore some white paper 'snow' layers and cut Rudolf out.

You can see the layers clearer in this photo...

I've used digi papers, Christmas Sparkles and Micro Dots, printed onto linen card for a textured look.

The Merry Christmas sentiment is also from Pink Gem Designs - the centre is blank, so you can add your own personalisation.

More photos and details over on my blog!

Thanks for popping in, hope you all have a lovely day :o)

Warm Winter Wishes

Hi all,

Its Lyndsey here and  I am very excited to be posting my first card to the Gems of Inspiration Blog. My for debut Pink Gem Showcase I have chosen to use the very adorable Winter Phoebe which is available in either Jpeg or Png format - coloured & just line image. I have also used the sweet little Christmas Circle Sentiments 1 set.

I coloured Phoebe with my promakers and teamed her with some lovely foiled papers. She was Die Cut out using the following Spellbinders Dies - Rectangles Classic Large & Fleur dis Lis Rectangles, which are both available in store and at such brilliant prices too. The card has been finished off with a bit of lace, organza ribbon and christmas flower.

The promakers I used to colour the image are :-

Skin - Burnt Orange, Coral, Sunkissed Pink, Oatmeal & Blush
Hair - Walnut, Cinnammon, Tan & Satin
Coat, Hat & Boots - Azure, Colbalt Blue, Sky Blue & Artic Blue
Trim - Island Lagoon, Soft Green & Pastel Green

Thank you for joining me here today

Christmas tags

Hi everyone! It's Rebekah here!
First of all we must wish a massive
HAPPY BIRTHDAY
To Pink Gem Designs 5 yrs old today!
This a quick post from me this morning offering some Pink Gem Inspiration. Quick and easy xmas tags! I know that I have to make a tonne of xmas tags for the multitude of presents I will have sat under my tree so I need a simple and quick solution which is here....
I have printed off Janet's digi pudding stamp. There is also a colour version which is even better for time saving! Most of the digi stamps have a pre coloured version but unfortunately my printer doesn't print colour!
Anyway I have coloured up the little puddings with my pencils and added them to my tag. My sentiment is from the polymer xmas eve Chloe set.
I will be making more tag like this with some of the many digi stamps available from PGD for the many presents I shall be giving!
I hope you have found a little inspiration today!
Big hugs

Have an Ice Christmas

'Christmas is Coming' and time is running out!
One of the reasons I made the 'Coconut Ice' Christmas papers and ornaments is because I have not got much time for making Christmas cards this year.
These digi products are so easy to print off and make into cards.....a few sticky gems and voila!

.....and if you are just started out in crafting....no fancy equipment, needed!
Just a printer, guillotine (something to cut the paper Straight) some sticky gems and pearls which you can find here......and the jingle bell here which is threaded on some silver elastic cord which is used for making jewelry
Oh and of course my 'Coconut Ice' digi papers and ornaments downloads which can be found here

Teddy with Christmas tree - card & mini pizza box

Hiya! it's my turn (Donna) to show you something made from gorgeous Pink Gem Designs goodies.

I've made a card & matching little pizza style gift box. These would be perfect for little gifts of chocolates, maybe for teachers presents or even for craft fairs. They are so quick to make as the cute bear is a gorgeous pre coloured one, which I printed 4 times so I could decoupage him.

Here's the card....

...and here's them both together.

Oh Christmas Tree digi paper pack. Ooh! these are so scrummy
Memory Box & Spellbinders dies
MS punch
Card Candy & pearl brad

If you fancy having a go at the pizza box, here are the measurements.
Click on pic to enlarge

I know! it's not very high tech lol!
It's a piece of card measuring 11in x 6in, score an inch all way round then score at 1, 5, 6 & 10 inch as shown, then fold all the same way. The zigzag lines are where you need to cut.

Here's how it looks once you've glued it together.

Hope you will have a go at making these. Don't forget to come back and check out more inspiration from my super talented teamies.

Hope you all have a lovely day.
