Happy Spook Night!....

Happy Spook Night to everybody who is celebrating Halloween.
I just finished redoing my purple craftroom and wanted some Halloween fun on one of my walls so I created some wallhangers. One of them is done with Pink Gem Cute spooks Digistamps. I coloured this cute ghost with Spectrum Noir markers and added some stickles.

I cut the spiderweb background with my silhouette cameo and just added it to a purple piece of cardstock. Now while redoing my craftroom I found stuff I didn't even knew I still had so also this Purple PolymerClay bead that I made a couple of years ago. But now it comes in very handy on top of the paper to keep the ribbon together ;) hahahha see it is a good thing to keep things and not just to sell or throw it all away ;)
Ah and while I am showing you this ghost I better show you some of my other Halloween cards to with Pink Gem Designs Digistamps.

Here is another little wallhanger that I made with Broomstick Jodie.

And a Mummy Josh card with Halloween sentiments.

get black outlined images in the set to colour yourself...
The cute Gingersnap digi papers are so easy to print off  & such colourful designs..
Just when you need something new & diff. card shape is a scallop rocker.
Some Grand Nestie dies HERE  distressed 1st layer then matt & layered
with nestie shapes.. even the Xmas stamp is another PG digi HERE

Ginger Christmas

I really do need to get on with some Christmas cards....this one is for baby Jacks second Christmas as he will be one in December.

Well I am very pleased with my new Ginger designs and the papers printed out beautifully as you can see from the photos.

No colouring here though as I used the pre coloured png image which comes with the digi stamp (you do get a blackline image so you can colour yourself) great for when you're short on time....and I don't seem to have enough hours in the day at the moment.

I layered some of the paper from the 'Gingersnap'  digital paper pack behind the image 'Ginger with Garland' in my graphic software  programme and printed them out. I also printed a second ginger the same size on it's own so I could decoupage him a little bit.
Now don't let the thought of using graphic software frighten you as it is really quite easy and there are a few programmes out there that you can download for free. Any image editing software that supports layers will do.
I cut out the image with my Nestabilities A2 Matting Basics A......I used the largest rectangle as it's nice and big. I love this set so much I am going to get the Matting Basics B which nests with it.
I made the frame from my Grand Labels 23 (this is a 8"x8" card)
The Christmas Candy Calendar Sentiment is also new which I designed to match the 'Ginger' range and cut out with my Standard Circle Nestabilities
What do you think to my new  die Cheery Lynn Snowflake 5 this is so elegant....cuts beautifully and just falls out of the die on it's own.....no struggling like some of the other fancy dies on the market :)
I cut some of the pinwheel candy from the spare paper using my circle nesties again and added some card candy to the centres....and here it is!

Jodie with Baubles

Hi, hope you're having a nice relaxing Sunday and enjoying a browse around blogland with your cup of tea/coffee :-)

The countdown to Christmas has begun with only 78 crafting days to go.  The shops have started to stock their shelves and I even saw Santa and a snowman walking through the city centre the other lunch time "ho, ho, ho'ing".  I think it's bit early for that don't you, they'll lose their voices by the time the big day gets here.

Anyway back to my card!  I've decided to go for an aperature card which has been cut with a scalloped oval nestie and added an vellum overlay too.  It was really simple to make and I think it sets off this gorgeous image from Pink Gem Designs called Jodie with Baubles beautifully. There are loads of images to choose from either in digi form or stamps with complimentary papers too so why not pop over and have a look.  Just think of all those special Christmas cards you've got to make!

Thanks for looking today and hope you continue to enjoy your browse around blogland.  Why not check out our current challenge over at A Gem of a Challenge where the current theme is "for the girls"

xx Happy crafting and glittery hugs xx
