'Thank You'

Good afternoon, Pamela here.  Hope everyone has enjoyed their Christmas and have managed to keep clear of the bugs.  It is my turn to show some inspiration and have decided to do a batch of 'Thank You' cards.

I have used Faye with Flowers available as a digi download from the Pink Gem website, and they are reduced in price at the moment.  I love this image as it is so useful for all occasions. I have used the pre coloured version, when you purchase the images you get a coloured version and black line to colour as you wish.  I have used a plain backgound which I have embossed and inked the edges and diecut the lacy square.

Here's wishing everyone a Happy and Healthy New Year.

Snowdrops and Crocus

Good morning everyone and welcome to my first post here on the Gems of Inspiration blog - I hope you like the cards that I'm sharing with you today.

I decided to go for something non-Christmas and these cards are made with two beautiful floral digi stamps from Pink Gem.  The first one is the 'Snowdrops' digi stamp which you can find here on the website.  I've also used one of the 'Micro Dots Digi Papers' which you can find here on the website.  The sentiment I've used is from the 'Funky Flowers' stamp set.

Next I used the 'Crocus' digi stamp which you can find here on the website and another of the papers from the 'Micro Dots Digi Papers' collection.  Again, the sentiment is from the 'Funky Flowers' stamp set.

Enjoy your weekend and I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas!

A Little Gift Bag

Good morning everyone.

It's Debbie here today and it's my turn to share something crafty with you.

Now I must admit to being a little fed up with making Christmas cards so I thought I would have a go at a little gift bag.

And here it is.

Front View

Side View

I used this sweet digi image from Pink Gem Designs called Robin With Mistletoe to use on the gift tag. I coloured the image using Promarkers and the papers are from my scraps box. I used my circle and scalloped circle nesties for the tag and the border punch is from Martha Stewart. I finished off by adding some Stickles to the little robin's hat, a pearl for the Mistletoe berry and liquid pearls for the snow flakes.

I found the tutorial for this cute little gift bag here.

Thank you for stopping by today.

Cute Pop-up Gift Card/Money Wallet

Good Morning Everyone

It’s Sue here today with my first inspirational post for Pink Gem Designs.

I would like to show you a fun gift card/money wallet that I made using one of Pink Gem Designs cute penguins from the Pink Gem Designs Penguin set 2  and the fabulous coordinating digital papers from Pink Gem Designs Licorice Ice
I also printed out some of the wonderful Christmas Frames and coloured the edges with my Promarkers to match.

For the design I followed a tutorial which I found here, just changing the measurement slightly.

Here is what it looks like folded up:

The part where the money or gift card is placed is cut using a spellbinders die which are also available to buy at Pink Gem Designs.
I used one of  the Pink Gem Designs frames for a place to write on.

I attached the image to a piece of stretchy cord which is secured underneath the image

Items Used
Digi Stamp -  Pink Gem Designs Penguin set 2  coloured with Promarkers
Frames - Pink Gem Designs Christmas Frames coloured with promarkers and white pen
Xcut punch corner rounder
Silver stretchy cord
Lots of glamour dust and gems have been for added Christmas sparkle!

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you all a very
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
Bye for now
Hugs

What a cracker ....

Hi Sazzle here with your inspirational post today.

Are you all still busy making your Christmas cards or have you finished?  Well I've got something different for you today that you could use to decorate your festive tables or maybe just use as one of your Christmas decorations.

I've made a Christmas cracker using one of the images from the Robin Set at Pink Gem Designs as well as printing off two of the lovely digi papers from the Coconut Ice Set directly onto my card.  The cracker has been finished of with, yep you've guessed, one of the new Vintage Christmas Sentiments

You could make these as place markers by putting the persons name on them or as a traditional cracker and place a little gift inside before tying the ends up with ribbon.  You could even add one of the strips that go "BANG" when you pull the cracker too.

I bet you wish you'd got a template to make one of these now don't you?

Well, because it's Christmas, I've taken all of the hard work out of it for you and included a tutorial on my blog if you fancy having a go!  I hope you have fun with these and I'd love to see what you make.

xx Happy crafting and glittery hugs xx

Winter Hoot treat bag

Hi, hope you are all ok and wrapped up snuggly warm, it’s my (Donna M) turn to share some Pink Gem Inspiration with you all.

I’ve made a little treat bag that was easy peasy to do.

Print off 2 A4 sheets of paper from the Merry & Bright collection.
Cut 4 Spellbinders Eyelet Squares using the largest of the dies.
Score on three of the sides at ½ inch.

Trim off the bottom 2 corners where the score line cross and fold the 2 sides up and the bottom down as shown.

Do this on all four Eyelet squares and stick the sides together as shown.

Cut the second largest square from the Spellbinders Classic Square Large set.
Glue this to the base as shown.

Print Winter Hoot owl out 4 times and die cut using Spellbinders circle die.
Die cut 4 scalloped circles and a handle (A4) in length Spellbinders Big Scalloped Border Petites.

Glue handle to bag on two opposite sides, attach layered images and scallops on each side and add two bows. Ooh! Don’t forget to fill it with sweeties.

Hope you have a go at making this little treat bag, please pop back soon to check out lots more scrummy inspiration from my teamies.

Hope you have a lovely day.

Quickie Cards

Hello crafters, Vicky here to inspire you today!  How are those Christmas cards coming along?  If you're anything like me, you'll be in panic mode by now!!  There are only days of crafting left before this Christmas and I still have loads of cards to make... so I came up with a simple design, using clip art from Pink Gem Designs and Pink Gem digi paper.

Not only are they very quick to make, but they are also very economical - you can print enough for at least 2 cards on every A4 sheet.  You could embellish them a bit more than this according to taste.  There are lots of different clip art images and pre-coloured digi stamps to choose from at Pink Gem Designs along with a range of coordinating digi papers.

Thanks for looking, come back soon for some more Gems of Inspiration
